Publication Ethics & Malpractice Statement

Synergy Publication is committed to ensuring high ethical standards across all published journals. We follow the guidelines and Best Practice Codes established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) to address issues related to research integrity, authorship conflicts, and scientific misconduct.

1. Ethical Standards for Authors

  • Data Accuracy: Authors must present an accurate account of the research performed and an objective discussion of its significance. Underlying data must be represented honestly and not fabricated or falsified.
  • Originality: Authors must ensure that they have written entirely original works. Any work or words of other researchers must be appropriately cited or quoted.
  • Multiple Publication: Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal concurrently constitutes unethical behavior and is unacceptable.
  • Authorship: Authorship must be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the study. All contributors must be listed as co-authors.

2. Ethical Standards for Editors and Reviewers

Editors make publication decisions based solely on scientific merit and methodological validity. They must maintain strict confidentiality regarding all submitted papers. Reviewers must perform evaluations objectively, disclose conflicts of interest, and keep manuscript contents confidential.

3. Dealing with Misconduct

In cases of alleged misconduct (plagiarism, authorship disputes, falsified data, or duplicate submission), the editorial board will follow the COPE flowcharts to investigate. The publisher will support editors in contacting institutions, collecting evidence, and publishing retractions or corrections as needed.
