Information for Editors

Editors at Synergy Publication are custodians of scholarly excellence and publication ethics. The role requires commitment, impartiality, and adherence to international guidelines on scientific oversight.

1. Ethical Responsibilities of Editors

Synergy Publication editors are expected to comply with the COPE Code of Conduct for Journal Editors. Core responsibilities include:

  • Impartiality: Evaluating manuscripts solely on intellectual content without regard to the author's race, gender, institutional affiliation, country of origin, or belief system.
  • Confidentiality: Protecting the confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts and peer review communications. No unpublished materials may be used for personal research.
  • Conflict Resolution: Disclosing conflicts of interest immediately and delegating review management to another editorial board member if a conflict arises.
  • Addressing Malpractice: Investigating reports of plagiarism, duplicate publication, or data fabrication in cooperation with the publisher.

2. Peer Review Workflow Management

Upon receiving a manuscript, the editor must perform a preliminary check for scope and plagiarism. If suitable, the editor assigns the manuscript to at least two independent expert reviewers. Editors must monitor review progress to ensure reviews are completed within the designated timeline (typically 4 weeks). Upon receiving reviewer feedback, the editor must evaluate the assessments and make an informed decision (Accept, Revision, Reject).

3. Editorial Independence

The publisher guarantees editorial independence. Commercial sponsors, administrative bodies, or corporate interests have no influence on the peer review outcome or acceptance of articles. Editorial board members are selected based on academic merit, citation impact, and field contributions.
