Open Access Policy

Journal of Transformative Pedagogies and Learner Engagement (JTPLE) is a fully open access journal. All articles published in the journal are freely and permanently accessible to readers worldwide immediately upon publication, without embargo.

JTPLE is committed to the principles of open scholarship and believes that unrestricted access to research promotes wider dissemination of knowledge and greater academic, professional, and societal impact. Readers are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link to, and use the full text of all published articles without financial, legal, or technical barriers.

The journal operates in accordance with the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing and adheres to the definition of open access as articulated by the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI).

In line with BOAI, users are allowed to use published content for any lawful purpose, subject to proper attribution, as specified in the journal’s licensing policy.

No subscription, registration, or payment is required to access the full-text articles published in Journal of Transformative Pedagogies and Learner Engagement (JTPLE).

To support this open-access model and cover essential publication costs, such as peer-review management, editorial processes, platform hosting, typesetting, and long-term archiving, JTPLE is funded by a publisher-supported approach managed by Synergy Publication. Details about the current fee structure are clearly outlined in our Payment Policy.
