About the Journal
Journal of Advancing Global Order, Regions, and Antiquity (J-AGORA) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access interdisciplinary scholarly journal established in 2026 to advance high-quality research across the humanities and social sciences. The journal provides a global platform for researchers, academics, policymakers, practitioners, heritage professionals, and emerging scholars to publish original, rigorous, and interdisciplinary research that examines the interconnected dimensions of global governance, regional transformations, and historical civilizations from local, national, regional, and international perspectives.
Grounded in its three complementary pillars—Global Order, Regions, and Antiquity—the journal promotes scholarship that bridges historical inquiry with contemporary political, social, cultural, legal, and economic analysis. The Global Order pillar encompasses political science, international relations, diplomacy, governance, public administration, constitutional and international law, public policy, strategic studies, security studies, peace and conflict studies, and global development. The Regions pillar focuses on regional and area studies, sociology, anthropology, development studies, cultural studies, migration, identity, social movements, community development, and comparative regional research, with particular emphasis on South Asia and the Global South. The Antiquity pillar includes ancient, medieval, and modern history, historiography, archaeology, heritage studies, archival research, historical geography, epigraphy, numismatics, museum studies, and the preservation and interpretation of cultural heritage.
J-AGORA encourages interdisciplinary research that explores the historical foundations of societies, the evolution of regional identities, governance systems, public institutions, and the changing dynamics of global political, economic, social, and cultural processes. The journal particularly welcomes theoretical, empirical, comparative, historical, archival, and policy-oriented studies that contribute to academic knowledge, evidence-based policymaking, sustainable governance, regional cooperation, cultural understanding, heritage preservation, and international collaboration.
All manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure academic excellence, methodological rigor, originality, fairness, and ethical integrity. The journal adheres to internationally recognized standards of scholarly publishing and follows the principles and best practices of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), promoting transparency, editorial independence, research integrity, and responsible scholarly communication.
J-AGORA publishes original research articles, review articles, theoretical and conceptual papers, policy analyses, historical studies, case studies, methodological contributions, book reviews, and interdisciplinary essays that advance scholarly discourse across its areas of focus.
